Sounds like the thermoswitch is stuck closed telling the fan to stay on. Replace the switch and / or take to a shop for further inspection.
usual symptons are dead battery or under-charged battery causing starting problems
The battery light indicates that the battery is not receiving a charging current. You may have a bad alternator or a broken drive belt (if you have a broken belt you'll have overheating and power steering problems too, though).
On my 2002 the ignition switch was hanging up causing a similar situation. A shot of WD40 into the key hole cleared it up, over a year ago.
It is the relay that energizes the clutch on the air conditioning compressor. Yes it does fail and remain closed after ignition is turned off, causing the battery to drain.
Does you car starts??? if no that means your battery doesnt have enough adequate power...there are 2 things... your battery maybe damaged or your alternator is damaged causing not charging up the battery..but if your car starts..try to reset your computer by unplugging the negative battery then turn the ignition on for 20 seconds then plug the negative battery back..now check if you still have the battery lights on..cheers..
On my espace a wiring fault turns on the ignition circuit at random draining the battery if not spotted. This is without the keys in the ignition. I fitted a battery isolater switch and use this to make sure it dont drain while parked up. seems to happen mostly when frosty etc.
check ignition switch and efi relay
An auto battery could be leaking for a couple of reasons. The alternator could be overcharging the battery causing the leakage. Or the battery itself could have a short or other internal problem causing it to leak when charging.
something is causing a drain on the battery when switch is turned off
You may have a electrical short in your ignition switch or in your fuse relay box, check to see if any water may have gotten into the fuse box relays.
The battery only handles the starting part, after that it is up to the ecm. You could have a problem with fuel delivery, air intake, or ignition. You will need to eliminate them one by one until you find what is causing it to die.
If the car is not in park, it wont release the key. If it is in park, there is a little switch underneath the prndl indicator that is bad, causing the car to not release your key.
