Your steering column is supported by 2 or more bolts behind the plastic covering. They are probably loose. Remove the plastic trim to get at these bolts.
Check lower control arm or steering knuckle bolt is loose.
Hello....I don't have the slightest idea. The answer above may be correct. I don't know how I ended up on this persons account when I accidentally answered a question without logging in. I have the same problem with a vehicle here. I think it's a bad wheel damaged by a large pot hole. not sure though.

unfortunaltely not. I am on my 3rd column and motor in less than 5000km in my 2010 balt. its the plastic gears in the column they wear out and make that rattle noise. although jtek has manufactured a better column, it still has same issues as evident in my 2010.
