Because it's old
replace cam shaft sensor,location behind main pulley
Fuel pump failure is one possibility.
if its not turning on then its broken.

Check for spark & fuel when it's dead and go from there.
Sounds like to me you need a wheel bearing

You can proceed straight ahead or make a right turn when you have a solid green light while driving. Make sure to yield to pedestrians and oncoming traffic if you are turning.
It's probably a broken engine mount. I have an 04 Alero and mine was broken. Jerking stopped when I replaced it.
Maybe a bearing is going, a balljoint, or maybe your brakes are catching.
