because you have your heat on when you see it. White exhaust smoke is a sign of coolant entering the combustion chamber. If you are loosing coolant, then you more than likely have either a blown head gasket, or a cracked head, especially if the engine has overheated recently. Stop driving this car immediately or severe engine damage will occur. Change the oil & filter and drive it to a professional for repair.
