Ours was doing that. The fuel injection system needed cleaning, but it could be something as simple as a dirty fuel filter, or spark plugs and wires.
If you put new plugs in, DO NOT gap them, they are preset, out of the box, and gapping them will ruin the platinum finish and they will not fire correctly.
