worn joints or bushings, you might try lubing the zerk fittings to see if noise goes away, if you have your won gun and do it one at a time-that will also lead you to the culprit
It's a 1994 GMC Sierra
I know for sure that it's not suspension differential brakes tires or wheal bearings The sound doesn't change when I steer or break When I speed up the intermittent squeaking creaking speeds up and when I slow down it slows down It sounds a lot like rubber rubbing against something I have a sneaking suspicion that it may be related to the CV boot What could it be?
ball joint
A creaking noise in the front end of the 2003 Ford Escape might be caused by shocks or struts that need to be replaced. This might also be caused by damage to the shocks or struts from high mileage.
well on my 01 zr2 blazer. its because it has a broken wheel stud on the left front. i don't know if that's your problem but that definatly makes the creak.
Failing strut, cv joint or steering bushing.
your front end needs to be lubricated badly. Jiffy lube will do it if your truck is fitted with grease fittings if it doesn't have fittings then you have to replace parts. Word to the wise the front end cost about 900.00 for the parts alone so take it to an experienced mechanic and have him drill in some "zirk" fittings on your front end parts so it can be greased!

Worn out ball joints, struts, lower control arm bushings, tie-rod ends, sway bar bushings, sway bar links, etc. Any one or more of these could do that. Sounds dangerous. Have the front end checked asap.
