how so you turn on the daytime running lights on a 99 suburban

My 1998 suburban right side is running rich. I was hoping to find a soulutin to your question Mike
To check the AC on a Chevrolet Suburban, first ensure the vehicle is running and set the climate control to the maximum cooling setting. Listen for the sound of the AC compressor engaging and check for airflow from the vents; it should be cool. You can also inspect the AC system for any unusual smells or leaks. If the air is not cold, it may indicate low refrigerant levels or a malfunctioning component, requiring further diagnosis.
Probably needs a general tune-up ... although if that were the case the Check Engine light would also be illuminated. Could be a clogged fuel filter. Wondering if vehicle restarts easily after the engine quits.
Is the engine running ? no
No, the suburban bus routes are running. See http://www.septa.org/sip/sip_running.html
There is a heat-sink resistor (has fins), approximatily 2" square under the dash just to the right of the steering column. It drops the voltage to 8 volts. People like to cut the wires to this device to disable the running lights. It is rare for this device to fail.
Quit running after its fully up to temp? Restarts after it cools down? Check the spark when it does it, could be the ignition control module.
