Sounds like a bad Universal Joint.SOMETIMES a bad Transmission Mount will do the same thing.

You have to change the transmission filter and fluid. your fluid is, too. old.. the same thing happen to me, for the longest time, I am a mechanic my self but I never was able to find out what it was till I talk to my friend who specialize in fixing Ford,Mercury and Lincon cars at the dealer.
