It could be because your air suspension pump is out and more than likely you will need to replace your air suspension bags.
You may have small holes and cracks in the lines somewhere you may not be able to see at all. Often times you can replace these air bags though and it may not fix your problem. Not to mention that most of these replacement parts are made over seas now. If you go to the dealer and try to buy original parts your going to spend a pretty penny trying to fix it. Go with a non air conversion kit from Strutmasters. These kits eliminate all that air and all the problems that come with it.
I bought a kit for my moms town car about a year ago. She loves it! I would have since then replaced the air on my Navigator and have had no problems with it since then. After two compressors I needed a fix for good. Strutmasters did it!!
Great service, Great product, and Great price!
how you find a air suspension relay in a Lincoln navigator
On a 2000 Lincoln LS : The FRONT suspension is a strut type suspension , so there are ( NO ) upper ball joints
Inside the trunk on the driver side. Up = suspension activated. Down = deactivated
Nozzle to fill rear suspension manually 98 navtigator
On a 2000 Lincoln Navigator : The switch for turning OFF the air suspension compressor is located in the front passenger footwell , by the kick panel
I believe it is in the right front passenger footwell , by the kick panel , on a 2000 Lincoln Navigator
you just do! you have conventional suspension, there is no need for one...
I was looking at one of Fords websites and for a 2000 Lincoln LS REAR suspension , as far as I can tell from the drawings , there are ball joints on the top on what they call the " trailing arms "
the compressor should be under the hood on the front passenger side, it should be.
air suspension switch in trunk. compressor under hood
Under the dash on the passenger side to the right of the glove box is a air suspension and fuel cut of switch. It will say which button each is for.
It's either the control arm bushings or the rubber mounts for the shocks.
