A Stratus is a Dodge not a Chevy. Neither Dodge or Chevy use inertia/safety switches.
The Dodge dealer wants $40.00 for the key and programming it.
yea i have a 2000 dodge stratus .. after 30 mins of driving it would shut of while i was goin 50 40mph. it would turn back on after i completely stoped but the problem got worse it would die after 5 mins of driving and it would not turn back on.. good thing i didnt have an accident.. i found the problem after droping the tank checking the fuel pump, and the fuel lines, and the fuel presure line, ... theres a fuse next to the circuit box its called the asd relay which means auto shutdown relay which cuts the power to the pump and the spark to the distributor.. change that relay im most certain that's wats wrong with the stratus
