Bad turn signal flasher?
replace flasher for for turn signals
There was a recall for this problem... I have same prob and just found out about this. There is a problem with the hazerd flashing warning lights switch-- it may experience solder joint cracking caused by rapid temp transitions & the soldering process. If the solder joint cracking occurs & results in an open cicuit, the turn signals/ hazard lamps become intermittent or inoperative. Dealers are supposed to replace warning switch- contact Oldsmobile at 1-800-630-6537
On an Oldsmobile Bravada, the horn is typically located in the front of the vehicle, behind the grille or near the front bumper. It may be mounted on the driver's side or sometimes on both sides of the vehicle. To access it, you may need to remove the grille or other surrounding components. Always consult the vehicle's service manual for specific details related to your model year.
there should be some kind of a panel or small flap in the rear that you would fill it up look around the cargo area
it is located on the right side of the passenger compartment of the vehicle you would have to remove the whole dash in order to replace it so if you have to ask where it is you probaly won't be able to replace it.
A gas smell in a 1992 Oldsmobile Bravada could be due to several issues, such as a fuel leak from the fuel lines or injectors, a worn or damaged fuel pressure regulator, or a faulty gas cap that is not sealing properly. Additionally, a problem with the fuel tank, such as rust or corrosion, could also contribute to the odor. It's important to address any gas smell immediately, as it can indicate a safety hazard.
The most likely answer would be the 2002-2009 GM GMT360 platform, which underpinned the Buick Ranier, Chevy Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender, Oldsmobile Bravada and Saab 9-7X.
brake switch ???
Possibly a defective Flasher Relay. Replace it. Can also be a turn signal switch going bad. You can try cleaning it with a spray electronic cleaner.
AnswerLoose or corroded battery cable? Ive had the same problem had it replaced 3 times in one year. they said its just a defect on oldsmobiles. If you leave the accessory on at all it seams to trigger it.
It's unlikely that an engine from a 1992 Oldsmobile Bravada would fit directly into a 1997 Isuzu Rodeo without significant modifications. The two vehicles have different engine mounts, wiring harnesses, and possibly incompatible components. While both might have similar engine configurations or displacements, compatibility would require extensive adjustments for a successful swap. Always consult a professional mechanic or a detailed service manual for specific compatibility and modification information.
I would use a 12 Volt test light and probe the power wire to the horn, chances are the horn is fried. They just unbolt . If it is a horn you need try a salvage yard-probably $10.00. I hope this helps you. Mark
