antifreeze is intended only for an engine, not for a transmission. there is coolant FOR a transmission, i would say that there would not be sufficient cooling for the transmission. it would probably overheat.
no it would overheat
Your motor oil going bad would cause that. That is in the crankcase, not the transmission.
Pinched or blocked transmission cooling lines
To keep the transmission fluid cool. Without one it would overheat.
That would be the 4L80E transmission.
Automatic transmission fluid would likely cause a standard transmission to overheat and wear the gears at a high rate.
how much tranny fluid are we talkin and why would you want to? the only time i would do this is if you have a old mechanical diesel engine then a little wont hurt
A 2003 Dodge diesel manual transmission will work in 1990 Dodge diesel manual and bolt to the 1990's transfer case with little fabrication.
The best dually diesel pickup truck would be Chevy or GMC 3500 with Duramax and Allison transmission.
pro bably the diesel leekedNot knowing what the vehicle is I would say the transmission vacuum modulator is bad.
I have seen it done. I do know that the transmission has a different gear ratio for gas and diesel but it works. you would just have to look at everything and see what you would have to change.
