Yes they will. The limiting factor of these heads are the valvesprings. You cant run anything over .470 lift unless you get a set of beehive Comp cam springs or get the valveguide machined to use a regular SBC Gen 1 spring. These heads stop flowing around .515 lift any more lift than that and it cant flow anymore through the head. These heads would work great on a 383 for towing.
will 1995 Chevrolet 350 intake fit a 1997 vortec heads
yes they will fit, but you will need an intake manifold compatible with vortec heads if you plan on reusing the carburetor
That's what should be on it.
NO.. It won't even bolt up.
Yes they will with no problems. They are basicly the same heads, Just different CCs.
Yes they will fit right on there with no machine work are problems.
The 1995 350 or 5.7L has a T.B.I. and standard heads. 1996 its a C.P.I. and Vortec heads.
Yes, they will work. but you wont gain power because the little 305 isn't putting out enough flow to keep up with the heads
No, the 1992 Chevy 350 (5.7L) V8 is not a Vortec engine.
the water jackets are different , the motor will keep running hot
NO. And it won't work in the place of the 97 350 vortec.
No! The angle of the intake bolts are not the same. Also The vortec heads will make more hp so you probably will not want to use standard Heads..
