It depends on the rim backspacing they are mounted on. I have 235/75r15 on my 93 with stock rims and they rub only when at full steering lock. The 235/70r16 are 29" tall and my 235/75r15 are 28.9 only .1" different. If the rims you are using have the same width and backspacing as stock, the tires will rub but only at full steering lock. If the rims are wider you will definitely need less backspacing to move the tire way from the frame. The speedo will not be accurate, it will be off by 3 mph showing at 65mph when your actually doing 68.
