Yes. Same block, different stroke.
the bolt patterns on the 318 and a 360 are the same. so as long as you can "fit" the transmission behind it, in essence, yes. but do your dimensional analysis either way. and consider the t-case and driveline.
any 4 speed tranny from a 340 engine will bolt to a 273, 318, or 360 engine as they are all the same engine block.
NoNo
same block, should fit
yes
A 1999 Dodge 318 transmission may fit a 2000 Dodge 360, as both engines are part of the Chrysler LA series and often share similar transmission designs. However, compatibility can depend on specific factors such as the transmission type (automatic or manual), the vehicle's drivetrain configuration, and any differences in electronics or mounting points. It's advisable to check the exact transmission model and consult a mechanic or specialist for confirmation before proceeding.
yes, any small block dodge engine ( 273, 318, 340, 360) will fit in there. no mods required.
A 727 (Smallblock) will fit the 273, 318, 340 and 360, but the bell housing is different for the big blocks. You would need to find a 727 from a 383, 400 or 440
318 and 340 are 2.500 360 are 2.800 Hope this helps
