Will a 460 engine fit on a 1965 Ford F-100?

Go to a salvage yard and look for a 73-79 Ford pickup equipped with a 460. You need to remove the engine mount perches that are bolted to the frame, this will allow the engine to sit perfectly in your truck. The frames from 65-79 are very similar this is why you can swap the perches and have a factory looking engine swap in your '65. Dont forget if your truck is 2wd you need perches from a 2wd donor.
