Yes, '68-'72 El Caminos (Gen 3) are the same body from the firewall back. Frames are the same.
Yes, 1968-1972 had the same frames.
Yes. It is the exact same radio... The El Camino is actually a Chevelle model. It is built on the Chevelle station wagon frame. The entire dashboard is interchangeable between the two.
no
That all depends on what engine is in each vehicle.
Yes.
Technically, yes. I believe '68-'72 will be very close. But there are always small differences. They are both A-body cars and use the same frame. Most salvage yards will have an interchange guide that should be able to help also.
No , the only compatibility for a 1970 Chevelle is a 69-72 Monte Carlo, Chevelle, El Camino... hope that helps...
Yes should fit but would be wrong as the 68 had square holes in the dash for gauges and the 69 had round also radio would be a little different. Also possibility that the vents would not line up correctly
There is no vin number located anywhere on the frame of a 69 impala
It may be the tires, and not the suspension at all. If the tires are oversized, it may be sidewall flex.
No it will not the frames are different in weith.
