yes i just did it 67 f250 on 76 f250 frame
there is no vin on the frame of a 67 chevelle.
Usually it is stamped on the frame on the passenger side towards the engine
It's a sub frame car.
It's pretty much a bolt-in. Would require correct motor mounts, of course. The holes may already be drilled in the frame.
yes and no. the cab is the same other than the front cab mounts. the front frame mounts for the cab would have to be removed from the original frame and put onto the 79 frame. however the rest of the frame will be allmost exactly the same other than power steering ect. other than that you would just have to re drill the 79 frame for misc brackets and what not to accept the original 67 brackets ect.
ANY '64-'67 GM A body frame from the same body type (2 door coupe, convertible, etc.) Now, you are MUCH better off sticking with the '66-'67 frames. Even though the earlier frames can be used, the '66-'67 frames are stronger.
'64-'67 Station wagon or El camino frame.
he own's blue 67 ford fairlane
They r 17mm.
Not without some serious modification. Use a rear end out of a '64-'67 GM A body instead. They are stronger and will bolt right in.
The earliest small block I've encountered with 4 bolt mains was a large journal 327 from about 67 or so.
