No it Has a different bolt pattern because of the engine size
LT1 gen 2 to LS1 gen 3 no
The cylinder heads are diffrent. Intake from 1998 truck will not bolt up to 1990 heads.
Yes they are the same block and heads you might have to swap intakes though
The bolt holes that are in the head were the intake manifold bolts go are in a different angle and place. won't work.
Yes they are the same.
NO. The 86 is not a roller block.
If you are sure that it did not freeze and crack the block, Then the intake manifold gasket is leaking. That is a common problem with the vortec Chevy engines. You need to replace the gasket with a factory Chevy gasket from the dealer.
it is under the upper intake manifold, if you have a vortec engine
Under the upper intake assembly
Yes they are Vortech is the heads and the intake the rest is the same
They are located in the engine block and in the heads.
I replace the heads with first starting by draining the coolant then removing the exhaust as neccasary then the intake manifold and distributor then the valve rocker arms and pushrods then unbolting the heads.
