Ford and Chevy engine parts will not interchange.
8-14
Most likely a 351
No, the Chevy cam will not fit in a Ford engine.a 302 ford cam will fit in a 351,but the engine will need to be timed to 302 specs if this is used. Later on H.O. 302 engines had the same firing order as as the 351 Windsor.
I assume that's the 351 Windsor that has the thermostat mounted vertically in the end of the intake manifold ( The 351 modified and the Cleveland versions have the thermostat mounted horizontally into the engine block )
If you wanted to put a 3.75" stroker crankshaft with a with a 0.05" offset grind into a Ford engine with a 4" bore (such as a Windsor 351) you could make a 383ci Ford stroker. But as for making the traditional Chevy stroker engine, you can't turn a Ford engine into a Chevy engine.
To determine which 351 engine is in your 1984 Ford F-250, you can check the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and decode it using a VIN decoder tool online. The VIN will reveal specific details about the engine type and other relevant information about your truck. You can also look for any identification marks or tags on the engine block itself for further confirmation.
