No, the supercharged 3800 is much to big, as for the Grand AM,you could probably get the chassis fixed to make it longer allowing more room and then buy customized enlongated body panels to support it, that would cost thousands. No good. So basically stretch it out but I doubt it's all worth it.
Actually,
The GM 3800 series II Supercharged engine has been installed in the GM J-body (Cavalier, Sunfire) by a few people. It should be even easier to put it in an N-body (Malibu, Grand Am, etc.), since it is bigger and the v-6 available in the N-body (the 3400 SFI, if I'm not mistaken) is actually quite similar, but smaller. The 3800 S/C should bolt directly up to the stock transmission in the Grand Am. The engine mounts would probably have to be modified, but the frame should hold the 3800 S/C with little to no modification.
Look on forums dedicated to the N-body (the GM enthusiast network may include one), and people who know more specifically can help you, at least with information.

You have to remnove the door panel and find out where the linkage is disconnected.
It is on the lower-left of the engine. It is infront of the exhaust manifold, but below the water pump on the lower corner of the engine.
