The 94 intake hits the firewall so as is the engine will not fit. However the intake from 97-98 Mark VIIIs are different and will fit in a mustang engine bay. All you have to do is swap a 97 or 98 Mark VIII intake onto your 94 long block and it will fit. Now there is one other problem and that is that the Mark VIII engine is a modular engine so you will need a front k-member from a 96-04 mustang so that the motor mounts on the k-member line up with the ones on the engine. Any k-member from a 96-04 mustang will work even if it is from a v6 mustang.

Yes. This is the strongest 4.6 block made. It was cast in Italy by the Teksid company and is capable of 1500 plus horse power. This is an aluminum block as opposed to your cast iron block. The teksid block was found in Lincoln Mark Viii 93-98 and the 96-98 mustang cobras.

It would be a difficult swap. The double overhead cam version from the Mark VIII is quite a bit wider than the single cam in a Mustang. They did do it in the Cobra, so you'd want to look at one of those to see what they had to do to get it in. Would have a different air intake system to fit the Mustang body and possibly different cross member and mounts. Then getting all the electronics to work. Not an easy project; expect lots of challenging issues.
