Probably not.
You remove the radiator cap (on a cool engine only) and pour it in....
Lower driver's side of the radiator, facing the engine. Best reached from the top with the engine cool. Don't want to burn yourself on the exhaust manifold or radiator hose!
There should be a drain plug on the lower driver's corner of the radiator. Needless to say, the engine should be cool before you do this.
The radiator cools the water which then goes to your engine to cool it off, as cool water enters your engine hot water from the engine enters your radiator
to cool engine
no the radiator fan will only run when the engine is up to temp and needs to cool back down usually 180 to 220 degrees
There is a good possibility the relay is stuck.
Open the radiator cap when engine is cool. Coolant should be right at the top. If the cooling system is healthy, the coolant reservoir will keep the system full.
The bigger the radiator the cooler the engine. Good anti freeze also helps as does good air flow.
Radiator stores engine coolant for circulation throughout the engine The radiator is placed at the front of the engine and exposed to the atmosphere to keep coolant cool to maintain proper engine temperature
Oil is not a coolant, it is a lubricant, but it keeps the engine lubricated to prevent friction, which reduces heat and makes is run cooler. Water in the radiator, and the radiator fan, is what keeps the engine cool.
Look for a radiator cap and add it there.Look for a radiator cap and add it there.
