I have 1999 chevy Silverado z71 wanting to see if a 1994-95 chevy Silverado z71 bed will fit
That would be the 4L60E and yes it will work. The 4L80E will NOT work
NO. The 95 is a electronic transmission and the 89 is NOT. Won't interchange.
YES, It will.
It is possible to change them out! If your 95 has a 4L60E or 4L80E the plugs are different from a 7000R4, 350 Turbo, or a 400 Turbo. I have a few questions for you! First of all is both trucks 4x4. And what is the models of both transmissions? If you can answer these questions I can help you out a little more. Good luck
5,700 cc
They both use the 4L60E.
NO. The 95 transmission is a electronic / computer controlled transmission. The 1984 does not HAVE the electronics to make the 95 transmission work.
Yes thay are.
Any 4L60E transmission. 1993 and up.
Yes, a 1990 model 700R4 transmission can work in a 1995 Z71, but there are some considerations to keep in mind. You may need to address differences in electronic controls and wiring, as the later model may have more electronic components. Additionally, ensure that the transmission’s output shaft and torque converter are compatible with the Z71's drivetrain. It’s advisable to consult with a professional for a seamless installation.
