faulty injectors, faulty pump, faulty regulator.
make sure that fuel really isn't getting into the throttle body (just enough to wet the plates). are the plates dry when turning the engine over? if so, check that fuel pressure is in spec. the pump can be tested for operation by connecting to a 12v dc source, battery or otherwise. other than that, good luck.
The fuel does not go to the throttle body it goes to the fuel injectors.
They come out the top of the throttle body. Clean area thoroughly before replacing the injectors to avoid any dirt getting in to the system.
If it has a carburator it cannot have injectors. If it has injectors it cannot have a carburator. Take the throttle body apart and clean it very well with carburator cleaner.
Have the pickup coil in dist checked this is what triggers the throttle body injectors
you may have bad injectors, or not enough fuel pressure
Fuel filters require periodic replacement. It could be partially clogged. If you are not getting enough fuel to the injectors, when you floor it, it will cut out. While at idle it may run fine. There is a vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulator that boosts fuel pressure when vacuum is low (heavy throttle). It could be rotted or disconnected. The regulator diaphragm could be leaking. The pump could be failing. The screen in the tank could be clogged. Fuel supply line could be ruptured (you'd smell gas).
No, because it is built into the alternator.
Shorted or grounded coolant senser, Fuel preesure Regulator bad.
also why is it if you use starting fluid the engine will fire up i am getting fuel thru the pressure regulator but will not fire up new filter new fuel pump relay getting fuel but will not fire up getting spark as well cause using starting fluid into the throttle body the car fires up so why wont it fire up if it's getting spark and fuel is it maybe not enough fuel can the fuel be pumping from the fuel pressure regulator but not be correct amount or correct pressure can the the fuel pressure regulator still be faulty even if fuel is coming thru it
The truck not getting the right amount of fuel if it back fires when its accelerating check to see if all your fuel injectors are good.
Faulty fuel pump. Faulty fuel pump relay. Faulty fuel pressure regulator. Clogged fuel filter, pickup, or line. No fuel in the fuel tank.
Is it getting spark?
