The 15th Amendment gave African Americans the right to vote, which would be included in "race, color, or previous servitude".
The Fifteenth Amendment (Amendment XV) to the United States Constitution prohibits each government in the United States from denying a citizen the right to vote based on that citizen's "race, color, or previous condition of servitude" (i.e., slavery). It was ratified on February 3, 1870.

The fifteenth amendment states that a person cannot be denied the right to vote because of race.
The 15th Amendment, passed in 1869 and ratified in 1870, established that no citizen could be denied the right to vote because of race, color, or previous servitude.Unfortunately, this did not extend the definition of "citizen" to include women, so it was not until the 19th Amendment (1920) that women were guaranteed this right.
