The colonists didn't want to be taxed so they protested by not those specific goods like: molasses, sugar, tea and other sweets. Eventually, Parliament realized that England was not making a profit off of this anymore. In fact, they were actually losing money! So they decided to repeal the act. (we actually just went over this in our last lesson in history!)
