∙ 13y agoI can only think of one and that was Woodrow Wilson.Several other presidents went to school in states that were future Confederate state or had been confederate states when they lived there.

It looks like three United States Presidents have attended the Olympic opening ceremony as of current records information regarding the Olympics.
The US had three presidents that year. James Garfield replaced Hayes on March 4. Garfield was shot and then died on September 19 and Chester Arthur became president.
If you use the Mason-Dixon line to determine the south, there have been a total of nine Presidents in America from the south. The states with the most out of these are Tennessee and Texas with three each.

The Confederate States of America was made up of the states that seceded from the US to bring about the Civil War. When the war ended these states returned to the Union and the Confederate States ceased to exist. The Confederate States had only one president and that was Jefferson Davis. He might be called a confederate president, I suppose, but he was not president of the US.
