There have been many amendments proposed for the Constitution. However to date only 27 of them have been ratified.

A Wikipedia article estimates the total to be around 11,372 for the period 1789 through 2008. Of those that were never ratified, six received the required two-thirds majority votes of both houses of Congress.

As many as 200 amendments are introduced each year, but only a few ever receive serious consideration by Congress as a whole.

Besides the 27th that have been ratified, six others were not ratified. Four of them are non-expiring, and have been technically still under consideration since 1789, 1810, 1861, and 1924. They are obviously unlikely to be ratified.
