Article 2 of the constitution states that there is a 35-year minimum age requirement. Presidents must also be a natural-born citizen of the United States.

Those are the same requirements as for the presidency. Part of the Twelfth Amendment says: "But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States."
Apparently he would have outlawed part of the Constitution, where it lists the requirements for Presidential eligibility.
