On April 19, 1775 in the colonial town of Lexington the first shot was fired. Seventy-seven of the men waited on the town green for the British. No one knows who fired the first shot, but before the British moved on to Concord several colonists were dead and houses burned.

What happened in the battle of Lexington and Concord is that the "Red Coats" were coming to fight and they had come by sea; they came over to this place where the colonists had kept their weapons; as the red coats were going to steal their weapons, but the colonists had already moved it.
