Popular indulgences are those that satisfy basic human drives including hunger and sex. Those that are hungry will accomplish their tasks by giving into temptations to gorge on foods that they feel guilty consuming because they have done so against their own beliefs. As for sex, indulgence or forgiveness of the sin can still be acheived but there are religious and personal rammifications of engaging in it.
