The House of Burgesses was the legislature of the Virginia Colony.
In the Baths, in bedrooms, at dinner parties, frequently erroneously called orgies, at the Games, and formally in the Senate. As the Repbulic aged, and the govermental corruption, as in decay, became more manifest, the Senate became increasingly less important, until it became little more than an eating club for relatives.
The Founding Fathers regularly met in a variety of venues including pubs and taverns. However, for the Constitutional Convention, they met in the Pennsylvania State House in Philadelphia which has been preserved and is now known more commonly as Independence Hall.
Roger Williams believed that the Puritan church should be separate from the colonial government. He argued for the principle of religious freedom and the separation of church and state, which he saw as essential to prevent the persecution of dissenters. His views led to his banishment from the Massachusetts Bay Colony, after which he founded Rhode Island as a place of religious tolerance.

No, in an early Puritan home, most of the family's activities, such as eating, socializing, and working, took place in the kitchen or the "hall," which served as a multi-purpose room. The family room as a separate concept didn't really exist in Puritan homes during that time.

An agora was a marketplace in which people would trade, own a buisness and could sell goods, products and slaves. The agora was possibly the most busiest part of any city as people would work and visit it everyday.
