Tax Laws
The Executive Branch enforces the laws which includes the tax laws. The IRS is a government agency headed by the Executive Branch. The Legislative branch creates the tax laws.
i can name four you pick the ones you want. The Sons of Liberty and the Daughters of Liberty protested in the streets. they also boycotted the items with tax. they complained that is not their job to put tax on items it was the colonial assemblies jobs to put taxes on items. they also dumped the tea into the water to show they weren't happy with the taxes on the tea. luv erika
The Sons of Liberty were one main group that opposed British laws. There were also many other groups like the Boston Tea Party activists and the free masons.

The daughters of liberty protested the new tax laws by boycotting British goods (like tea, glass, or other things that weren't essential for survival) and making their own products instead of buying them from the British (made butter, clothes, milk, etc.)
