Why people vote and why is it important to vote?

It is important for American Citizens to vote because 1) it is a privilege, and 2) we are a Republic; we are "a government having a chief of state who is not a monarch and who in modern times is usually a president."

Because people are very opinionated and want to have their say in things. For example, if the voter hates candidate "B", they may choose to vote for the candidate running against candidate "B". Additionally, voting is important because even though it may seem that the choice is always between the lesser of two evils, if no one ever voted, no one would ever face the reality that people have different opinions and perpectives on the same issues. This is important because the ability to look at an issue from a different perspective is a virtue. Lastly, many people have died so we could vote today. So I wouldn't take the right to vote for granted. I actually learned all of this from South Park. Er. Most of it. :3

we,citizans of the US, must vote that way political parties are decided fair and square. If lets say only one person voted it would be unfair.
