Robert Owen established New Harmony, Indiana in 1825.

Robert Owen was also a social reformer of the Industrial Revolution. He assisted the working class of England by helping ease labor hours and conditions and the use of child labor. This was because the Factory Act was not passed until 1819, therefore children were still at work in the factories of England. Finally, he assisted in the employment standards of England.
