Yes. There is a large colony (100,000-250,000) of Mexican free-tailed bats that migrate to Colorado in the summer and live in an abandoned iron mine. This is the largest colony in Colorado. In the winter, they migrate to South America. I have included a link to the brochure about the bats. The outflight that takes place every evening is spectacular and I would recommend it highly. Other than that, I don't have any more specific details about bats in Colorado. I have seen bats during the summer in various places in Colorado, but only a few here & there - nothing like the large colony at the Orient Mine.
