Yes, they are sold in reptile stores, or may be a special order from your local pet store. They are not poisonous. But they do require special care. They are fairly expensive to buy, so you want to be sure that you know how to take care of one BEFORE you buy one. There is plenty of information online on taking care of red-eyed tree frogs, and many many other species, as well. Just remember that all frogs are not alike and will have different requirements for their care.

Frogs and Toads are not so much pets, but more as a interesting creature living in your house.

As for their life span not so much is known about it. Some records of frogs in captivity have been know to live short lives while others (of the same species) have been known to live long lives.

EXTREMELY ! i have an australlian whites tree frog named string bean nd he is a good pet . the only bad part is that they are not good for kids because they are not one to pet
