They usually eat frogs or toads
It completely depnds on the species, my pet frogs skin feels waxy, and a few wild frogs I've caught felt slimey, try giving more specific questions.
Toads start mating through mating season. The male has to be a little smaller than the female to mate.
I live in Kentucky on lake Barkley and we have alot of ticks but as soon as the toad and frog babies start to come out of the lake and ponds the ticks disapear and fast. So the baby frogs and toads are what eat the Ticks around here. Mike

Most any insect that fits in their mouth.
flys or bugs or bees
Toads are mostly nocturnal.Every night I go outside with my sister and we catch toads at like,10:00 PM and there are a lot out there. They do come out in the morning too but they are very hard to find because they try to sit very still and blend in with the plants around them.
In the wild, they eat toads and frogs, usually in captivity they would eat mice. Depending on the snake's size there is a certain size of mice they have to eat. Some examples are pinky mice and fuzzies. Hope this helps.
