i think because they actualy have little feet that they can walk faster than snails.but snails dont have feet
I dont think anyones too sure. Lets race them!
because the wet surface makes it slicker so there slimy slick bodys can move 0ver faster
No.
Snails leave a slime trail because of their limited movement. Snails are very small creatures, and coupled with the wait of their shell, they do not move very fast. Snails leave a trail of mucus, not slime (well i guess it counts as slime..:) in order to help them slip along faster. They use it to glide along on, and it helps them stick so they can hang upside down.
kind of because mouses are small so humans are a little faster than mice
Worms move faster than snails because they have a more streamlined body shape that allows for faster movement through the soil. In contrast, snails move slowly due to their shell, which adds weight and can cause more friction when moving. Additionally, worms have a more efficient method of locomotion using their muscles and setae (tiny bristles), while snails rely on muscular contractions to move their bulk along.
snails are slower than turtles. if you put a snails speed next to a turtles the turtle will be faster.
Sound will usually move faster in a solid than in a liquid.

Generally, caterpillars are faster than snails. While the speed of both can vary by species, caterpillars can move relatively quickly for their size, often inching along at a rate of about 1 centimeter per second. In contrast, common garden snails typically move at a much slower pace, around 0.013 meters per second. Therefore, in most cases, a caterpillar will outpace a snail.
