To capture a frog in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, you must first have at least one of your three cages empty in the Start menu. Then equip the Mk22 or EZ Gun. Going into the prone position, shoot the frog. It will then become an item. Walk through the item to pick it up. The frog will now appear in your inventory. To kill a frog, equip a lethal weapon (eg. M1911 or Knife) and shoot or slice the frog. It too will become an item.
