they can't,

they have to stay in tropical and filtered water, for example tap water is filled with chlorine which is bad for the frog.

How do you tell the difference between dwarf African frogs and clawed frogs?

Look for little claws on the front feet; clawed frogs live up to their name. They are also somewhat bigger than dwarf frogs, have more popped-out eyes, and if it's an albino, it's definitely a clawed.

I have 5 goldfish and a dojo loach in a 40 gallon tank and you were wondering if you can add 2 African dwarf frogs?

Your tank is already overstocked. Putting the frogs in there will eventually kill the fish. (and the frogs won't last long either). Frogs are amphibians and piddle and poo in the water making it poisonous for fish. Frogs should be kept in a vivarium where the habitat is part dry and part wet.

Can you hold a Dwarf frog out of the water?

African Dwarf Frogs, though able to come out of water, can't live without H20. Their skin dehydrates very quickly and the frog can become serously stressed out if it's out of water. It's best to leave the frog(s) in the tank instead of trying to handle them.

How long can dwarf frogs stay under water?

The answer to this question is unknown, as leopard geckos would never be found in the water, much less under it. Most reptiles, however, can hold their breath for a very long time, and have low oxygen requirements. A leopard gecko that wound up under water (for whatever reason, it's hard to fathom), would probably get water in its nostrils and possibly its lungs, however. This may lead to a respiratory infection afterward.

Do male African dwarf frogs cling onto each other like they are mating?

You can tell when your dwarf frog is mating because your female is laying on the male for a LONG time and then your dwarf frogs have small baby's put the eggs in a different tank then your male and female because the male and female can eat the baby's don't want that to happen or do you put them in a different tank I hope u learned alot from me bye

Can you keep 2 male albino African clawed frogs in a 20 gallon tank?

As long as you have your tank heavily planted, the frogs should be fine.
