It depends on the species.
For spadefoot toads, a couple of weeks.
Bullfrogs take two years.
But most take 2-4 months.

When in fish like stage, yourn frogs and toads are tadpoles or pollywogs. When they have grown feet but still have a tale, Froglets.
Pollywogs or tadpoles need warm, shallow water to swim in, and small bits of bread crumbs to munch on. They will be very happy and grow quickly. You can observe their body changes as the adults develop into frogs. Why not take notes of changes as you observe them. Great project for a science/biology hobby.
Pollywogs are also known as tadpoles, which are the larval stage of an amphibian, most commonly a frog or toad. During this stage, they have gills and a tail for swimming, before eventually developing into adult frogs or toads.
Usually, tadpoles swin away; I assume that pollywogs do the same.
On the ground. Unless you want hundreds of frogs around your house.
"Grow" has a long "o" sound.
pollywog's are very interesting little creatures its been hard to see what they eat because I am tending to over 500 of them but I have found they will eat anything from algae to the bodies of the other pollywog's I don't think they need any thing specific just as long as they can eat it
Tadpole is the common name of Pollywog or Porwigle. It is the larval stage of an amphibian life cycle specifically of a frog.
