stock there tank or cage with food until its out of food then re-stock, and feed them bugs, frogs/tadpoles, and worms.

My redback salamander is about 2-3 inches long. He/she eats every day. It will not eat anything that it cohabitates with. Therefore, don't bother with millipedes or centipedes b/c they're his "friends". However, my salamander LOVES Spiders and fruit flies! He eats about 3 fruit flies and 3 small spiders a day. He might eat even more, but I have trouble finding food for him. Of course, if your salamander is bigger, you'll have to find larger prey or more abundant meals. These little guys make great pets. Just feed them 5 time a week. If they get to skinny they wont eat any more.

Mealworms and crickets .I am not sure how much. You can buy mealworms at any petshop and they will tell you how often to feed them .

As for how often you feed them, depending on their size, about one or two worms a day should be enough for them.
