According to the account of Jull Pascoe, author of Louisiana's Haunted Plantations, Frogmore Plantation is haunted. Pascoe gives her account as follows:
The wife of Daniel Morris, the first owner of Frogmore, "died after giving birth to their son in 1836." A series of seeming 'natural cause' deaths occurred as the plantation changed hands from the Gillespies to the Wade family, to the Tanners who bought the plantation in the 1960s. On numerous occasions a veiled woman dressed in black has been seen on the property by overseers and residents. Lights turn on and off and other mysterious electrical disturbances are recounted by the author. A house slave dressed 'in dark clothing and wearing a red apron' walked through the bedroom door of one resident, as recently as the 1990s.
I find Ms. Pascoe's account of her interviews and research most convincing.

Local legend and reported ghost sightings suggest that the antebellum plantation at Stone Mountain Park may be haunted. Some of the most popular haunted houses are located in the USA and in England. Borley Rectory in Essex, and Raynham Hall in Norfolk, both in England, as well as The Whaley House in California and the Myrtles Plantation in Louisiana all have a reputation of being haunted.
Theres a new one that's very scary called panic attack on the corner of 16th st. and kidder. Also a haunted barn at poplar grove plantation near porter neck that also has a haunted hayride. Downtown there are several haunted attractions including the haunted battleship and ghost walk which are more like a tour guide telling you stories about the history and how they're haunted. But at night the battleship is a more set up haunted thing.
The Myrtles has a reputation for being more haunted, but that is in part because the Myrtles is marketed that way. Oak Alley Plantation does not heavily promote the supernatural, but if you visit and talk with any of the tour guides, they will tell your stories that send a chill up your spine.
