We have 3 pet African Dwarf Frogs. They are the cutiest things ever...today while getting ready to feed them, we noticed one of them choking on a rock. My wife happened to see him gobble the rock, it in his mouth and appeared to be going down his throat, he was shuttering and choking on the thing. In 15 seconds it was all over and he managed to cough it up. We normally feed him microscopic pellets. I bet the rock was the size of 20 pellets. Don't know what possessed him to try to down the thing. They are not the brightest creatures.
I read somewhere that frogs can die by eating rocks, as they can't pass them out.
next time we change the bowl, we'll change out the rocks and put in bigger rock.

Frogs do not drink fizzy drinks. In fact, they don't really "drink" at all. They absorb water through their skin.
