To get green you mix yellow and blue. To get a darker shade you add black. To get a lighter tint you add White. That's if you are talking about mixing paint using primary colours+ black and White. If you are talking about mixing lights then red+green+blue are the three primaries which make up White light. I don' know if that helps you much
A little bit of black It depends on the green you're starting with. Try adding a touch of brown. Experiment. Small touches of a darker green, brown, black, red, russet, umber, or a darkened burnt orange may change in that direction.
