Nyamba was a god of sub-saharan Africans during the period of Nubian and Egyptian flourishing. The believers in Nyamba felt that he was the creator of the universe but played no role in the activities of any life force or forms on the planet. They felt he was a willful nonparticipant. This logic is just as good as any I've heard.
