because if the were not green then you would be able to see them in the grass and try to kill them.

GREEN
green
Grasshoppers are normally a brown or yellowish brown colour, although a few species have some slight green shading in places. They colouring is often mistaken as bright green, the colour of grass, but this is a fallacy, and grasshoppers despite their name do not take on the colour of grass. This green colouring is often exhibited by crickets, a species that different from the grasshopper.
No it does not. Animals are not containing chloroplasts.
Grasshoppers are green because it helps them hide from birds. Since grasshoppers spend a lot of their time in grassy areas their green color helps them blend in and be harder to see by birds.
Green
The insects blood is clear or pale green-yellow!!!!!!!!WHY DO U CARE WHICH COLOUR IT IS
Red wavelengths are unable to penetrate to that depth as they are absorbed. Green wavelengths penetrate deep and therefore blood appears green!
Well just a while ago I saw a robin that was dying and the blood was purple. I think it depends on what type though!
The bleed Lizard blood. This is red like most other vertebrate blood. However there are species of skink lizards that live on the island of Papua New Guinea that have green blood. The green colour happens because the lizard retains green bile in its blood making the blood appear green.
Probably. -_-
