Yes. Menelaus took her back to Sparta.
Paris, the son of the King of Troy, seduced the wife (Helen) of a Greek king (Menelaus). Whether she went voluntary or not (Paris was supposedly the handsomest man ever) isn't well established, except that she looted the palace and took it off as a gift to Paris. Menelaus was brother to Agamemnon, the King of Kings of Greece. Agamemnon then raised an army and attacked Troy, to bring back Helen and of course the loot. Of course the opportunity to destroy a rival kingdom and sacking the rich city of Troy played a minor :) role.
She wasn' t really in a war but she did start the Trojan War.
She was the daughter of the God Zeus and a princess of Sparta. Se was fabled to be the most beautiful woman that ever lived and was kidnapped by prince Paris of Troy and taken to Troy. The Spartans (and other Greek kings) mounted an expedition to reclaim her and the story of this is called the "Trojan Wars" as told by Homer in the Iliad.
I think you mean "She is no Helen of Troy." It basically means that "she is not the most beautiful woman on Earth." Helen of Troy was considered the most beautiful woman ever to have set foot on the Planet.
The city of Troy was sacked and burned. Any horse would have been made out of wood and destroyed in the fire that consumed the city... provided there ever even was a horse.
If it ever existed, it rotted away a long time ago.
She was daughter of Zeus, and Queen of Spartans. She was hit by a love arrow and fell in love with a Trojan. They ran off together, to Troy where all the Trojan's lived. Her husband, the king found out about it and he, along with the other Greeks, went to war with the Trojan's for many years. the Greeks were smart and hid themselves in a big horse they made, the Trojan's took it as a 'we surrender' gift and brought it into their land. The Greeks came out at night when all the Trojan's were sleeping and killed them all. They got Helen back and she lived happily ever after with her husband!!!!!!
yes there was.
No one. No Trojan hores were ever built
She is the daughter of Zeus and she was the most beautiful woman ever. She married Menelaus of Sparta and then was kidnapped by Paris (Aphrodite told him that if he said she was the best then he could have the most beautiful woman in the world - Helen) The Trojan War was fought over her and she was returned to Sparta.
According to the mythology of the Trojan War, it was all to do with Helen of Troy (who wasn't really from Troy, but rather Sparta). When Helen was approaching the age of marriage there were many suitors trying to win her because of her beauty. Odysseus came up with the idea that all the suitors must swear an oath that Helen can choose who she wants to marry and that all the others will support the lucky man if he ever gets into trouble because of her. Helen chose Menelaus, who became King of Sparta, when Helen ran away with Paris to Troy (thanks to the involvement of Aphrodite) Menelaus called up all of Helen's old suitors to get her back.
When the Golden Apple caused discord among the goddesses, a young man (Paris) from Troy was asked to pick between the three goddesses. Athena offered him eternal wisdom, and Hera offered him to be king of many countries. However, Paris chose Aphrodite because she offered him the most beautiful woman ever -- namely, Helen of Sparta. Paris stole Helen away in the night from her husband and sailed to Troy, then proceeding to ra -- make love with her. However, the king of Sparta found out and started the Trojan War. This is also why Helen is connected to "The face that launched a thousand ships".

Yeah! the Olympics started in Greece! Athens,Greece.
Ancient Greece was divided into city-states and leagues which continually vied for power with each other, but one of them ever became strong enough to control all of Greece. Later Greece was controlled by the Macedonian Empire, the Roman Empire, the Eastern Roman Empire, and the Ottoman Turkish Empire. Finally in the 19th Century Greece became an independent country which controlled itself, and a united country for the first time in history.
